After church a couple of weeks ago we decided to take a drive (I know Mom and Dad, I actually took my family out on a Sunday drive like the ones I hated when I was younger) to a place called Champoeg State Park. (It is pronounced Shampooie). I was going to be running a half marathon at Champoeg Mother's Day weekend so I wanted to show Travis how beautiful it was there. We took the dog and had a nice afternoon exploring.

Funny, I hated "Sunday Drives" too as a child. But somehow I don't mind it as much as the parent. I feel like a real grown-up when we take our family out on stuff like that.
I'm still not much of a fan of Sunday Drives. Daniel has to prod me along as much as the kids. Sounds like you have has a busy last couple of weeks. Good to see what has been going on with you guys!
