Brynley Girl at 10 months

I can not believe our baby is 10 months old, she will be 11 months in about a week and a half. This year has gone by so quickly. Bryn is a joy and we love every moment with her, even when she wakes up in the middle of the night once in awhile. *Brynley loves to stand and balances with just 1 hand, she will be walking before we know it.
*She gives you big open mouth wet kisses with a "mwa" sound.
*She turns on the bath tub in the master bath all by herself. We now have to keep the door shut.
*Blabbers phrases all the time.
*She loves looking outside to see what is going on.
*Lights up when her brother and sisters walk in the door from school.
*Loves her Daddy and is always saying "Dadadadada".
*She loves her blanket and especially her bed.
*When you change her diaper, she tries to break free before you can get the new one back on.
*She whines "mamamama" when she is tired.
*When you get her out of her crib she pats you on the back.
*Bryn is not a big fan of baby food anymore, she wants big people food and anything I am eating.
*She just got her first 2 teeth this week.
*Has beautiful big blue eyes that make me melt.

*We can not imagine our lives without our little Brynnie.

We love our cousins...`

While we were in San Fran we had the best time with our Adam's cousins. All the kids got a long so well, we barely saw them. The adults even snuck out one night for a date at a yummy Italian restaurant and topped off the night with gelato. Thank you Erik, Heather, Lincoln, Rulon, Ellis and Will for a fabulous Spring Break.

San Francisco Day 3

On our 3rd day just our family went back into the city to spend time around Pier 39 and to go on a Bay cruise.
Jake was obsessed with the palm trees and wanted me to take pictures of them. Obviously we do not have them up in the northwest.

Lunch at Boudin's
We went to lunch at Boudin's for their famous sourdough bread. I had the best grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup, Travis had clam chowder in a sourdough bowl and the kids had sourdough pizza. All of a sudden during lunch we looked down and noticed a lot of pigeons around us, Brynley had been feeding them all of her bread.
The older kids thought it was funny so they got in on helping her throw more bread.

We had to buy a few sourdough loaves to take back to Heather's house. Jake wanted to buy the sourdough lobsters and crabs.

San Francisco Bay Cruise
We went on a beautiful cruise around the Bay and learned a lot about San Francisco. It is such a beautiful city. The boat went under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz and along the shore. We each had headphones to listen to the history of San Francisco but they only last about 5 minutes on the kids. The kids had a blast on the boat, we highly recommend it to anyone.

You can not go to San Francisco without seeing the sea lions.

Spring Break in San Francisco Days 1 & 2

For Spring Break this year we decided to take the kids to San Francisco to visit Travis' sister, Heather and her family. It was only a 10 hour drive to her house and we had a blast. The first day we went to Muir Woods to explore, hike and see the beautiful Redwoods.

Baylee is disgusted her brother his touching her.
Standing in the big redwood.
Syd is always ready to pose.
Bryn hung out in the Baby Bjorn most of this trip, she was so good.

6 out of the 8 kids: Jake, Lincoln, Baylee, Rulon, Sydney and Ellis

The second day, Erik took work off and their kids took school off and we went into the city to be tourists. Erik works downtown so we had a personal tour guide. As soon as we stepped on the streets of San Fran we saw a lot of interesting people but I think they looked at us as being the freaks with 8 kids between us. We had so many stares and comments from all these wacky people. Jake kept on asking questions and making comments to me like: "This is a scary place." "Why did that guy call us a traitor if we didn't give him money?" "Why do they do so many drugs here?" (there was a lot of people smoking) "Why does that guy not have a job?". My kids eyes were opened up that day. We went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then took a trolley to Ghirardelli Square. Baylee was in heaven at the Ghirardelli chocolate store and bought a huge white chocolate candy bar all to herself. As we were waiting in the huge line (1 1/2 hours) to go back to Union Square on the trolley we enjoyed watching all the street performers.

Jake was amazed by this building, he took this picture.

All 12 of us went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory, the kids were so well behaved.
Anxiously waiting to get on the trolley.
Sydney loved going down the hills.
The gang having a blast on the trolley.

Eating ice cream at Ghirardelli Square.

We found Travis checking his Blackberry often, it was March Madness and he had to check the scores.

Bryn was so tired by the end of the day she drank her bottle and fell asleep in the Baby Bjorn while waiting to get back on the trolley.

Bryn's first trip to Utah

Bryn and I went for a quick trip to Utah to spend time with my sisters and their families and see my almost 90 year old Grandma. My sister, Tina, and my parents had been the only ones in my family to meet Bryn so I had to make a trip to Utah to show off my angel girl. We had a great time hanging out with my sisters, doing what we like to do, a lot of shopping. I ate at my favorite places, including Cafe Rio, and just enjoyed spending time with my family. Sorry to all my friends in Utah, this was a quick jam packed trip, I wish I could have seen all of you. We had a big family gathering on Sunday night with my nephews from BYU, my cousin and her kids, aunt, uncle and Grandma as well as my sisters. Bryn melted the hearts of everyone around her and she loved spending a lot of time with her two big cousins, Madi and Melia, as well as having her Uncles Troy and Steve spoil her. Thanks for the fun weekend, I love and miss you guys!

When we were also in Utah, Bryn and I had a chance to spend a morning with Travis' brother, Matt, his wife, Katelyn and little Brady Bug. It was fun to hang out with them and see their new condo.
