Kaleb's Trip to Oregon

Bubby and Bryn

In July, my cute nephew, Kaleb, came to Oregon to visit us for a week. We had a a blast at the Oregon Coast, hiking up to Multnomah Falls, the Oregon Zoo as well as many other adventures. We loved having "Bubby" visit us!

Cannon Beach and Rockaway Beach

Bryn loved playing in the cold water and got soaked!
Sydney loves Bubby and wants to marry him one day.

Jake and Baylee had to pose in the middle of their sand fight.

We had to take Bryn's clothes off because she was covered in sand. She still had to get out there and run around even though she was freezing.

Trav on his phone, like always!
Sassy little Sydney
Jake's favorite thing to do on the beach, run from the waves.
The kids were exhausted after a day at the coast.

Multnomah Falls
Just before the big hike to the top of the falls.
Taking a water break.

The kids did a great job with very little complaining.
At the top of the Falls.

After we hiked to the top we hiked to this little creek for the kids to take their shoes off and play in the water.
On our way back down.
A fun family adventure!

Lagoon 2010

We went to Lagoon while we were in Utah with my sister, Tina's family. This was our first time going to Lagoon as a family and we had a blast! Lagoon is where I rode my first roller coaster (The Colossus) as a kid and Jake decided he wanted to ride The Colossus for his first roller coaster too. It has 2 loops in it but he loved it so much, we went on it again and again, he has no fear. We had such a fun day that we stayed until Lagoon closed.

The Ladybug ride.

They got soaked on the Log Ride.
Rattlesnake Rapids. Baylee's face cracks me up, they were about to come up to the waterfall.

Notice Baylee's face again, HILARIOUS!
Bryn was so happy and content just hanging out in her stroller.
Brynnie loves her Bubby (Kaleb).

Sydney asked if she could marry Kaleb, we had to tell her that you can not marry your cousin.
Madi and Jake
Baylee and her "tough" dad.
Trav and I decided to try something new so we paid an extra $30 and went on the Sky Coaster. It was dark so it was hard to get good pictures of us flying through the sky as I was screaming. The Sky Coaster is a ride where you are lifted by a launch cable 143 feet above the ground. When we were given the signal, I pulled the ripcord, releasing us from the launch cable to swing (free fall) towards the ground at speeds reaching up to 80 mph, where we swung back in forth at least 5 times. It was one of the most terrifying and funnest moments of my life. I am so happy to have shared it with Travis.
They were starting to lift us 143 ft. off the ground. FREAKY!

We had a great time at Lagoon and the kids say it needs to be a tradition that we go back to Utah every summer and go to Lagoon.

Baseball Game

One of our favorite things to do in the summer as a family is watch baseball, especially going to a baseball game. We went to a Salt Lake Buzz game with my sister and her family. They even had fireworks after the game where we could watch laying on the field.

Bryn had cotton candy for the first time.
