For Spring Break this year we decided to take the kids to San Francisco to visit Travis' sister, Heather and her family. It was only a 10 hour drive to her house and we had a blast. The first day we went to Muir Woods to explore, hike and see the beautiful Redwoods.
Baylee is disgusted her brother his touching her.

Standing in the big redwood.
Syd is always ready to pose.

Bryn hung out in the Baby Bjorn most of this trip, she was so good.
6 out of the 8 kids: Jake, Lincoln, Baylee, Rulon, Sydney and Ellis
The second day, Erik took work off and their kids took school off and we went into the city to be tourists. Erik works downtown so we had a personal tour guide. As soon as we stepped on the streets of San Fran we saw a lot of interesting people but I think they looked at us as being the freaks with 8 kids between us. We had so many stares and comments from all these wacky people. Jake kept on asking questions and making comments to me like: "This is a scary place." "Why did that guy call us a traitor if we didn't give him money?" "Why do they do so many drugs here?" (there was a lot of people smoking) "Why does that guy not have a job?". My kids eyes were opened up that day. We went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then took a trolley to Ghirardelli Square. Baylee was in heaven at the Ghirardelli chocolate store and bought a huge white chocolate candy bar all to herself. As we were waiting in the huge line (1 1/2 hours) to go back to Union Square on the trolley we enjoyed watching all the street performers.

All 12 of us went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory, the kids were so well behaved.
Anxiously waiting to get on the trolley.
Sydney loved going down the hills.

The gang having a blast on the trolley.
Eating ice cream at Ghirardelli Square.
We found Travis checking his Blackberry often, it was March Madness and he had to check the scores.
Bryn was so tired by the end of the day she drank her bottle and fell asleep in the Baby Bjorn while waiting to get back on the trolley.
