San Francisco Day 3

On our 3rd day just our family went back into the city to spend time around Pier 39 and to go on a Bay cruise.
Jake was obsessed with the palm trees and wanted me to take pictures of them. Obviously we do not have them up in the northwest.

Lunch at Boudin's
We went to lunch at Boudin's for their famous sourdough bread. I had the best grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup, Travis had clam chowder in a sourdough bowl and the kids had sourdough pizza. All of a sudden during lunch we looked down and noticed a lot of pigeons around us, Brynley had been feeding them all of her bread.
The older kids thought it was funny so they got in on helping her throw more bread.

We had to buy a few sourdough loaves to take back to Heather's house. Jake wanted to buy the sourdough lobsters and crabs.

San Francisco Bay Cruise
We went on a beautiful cruise around the Bay and learned a lot about San Francisco. It is such a beautiful city. The boat went under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz and along the shore. We each had headphones to listen to the history of San Francisco but they only last about 5 minutes on the kids. The kids had a blast on the boat, we highly recommend it to anyone.

Pier 39 and the Sea Lions
You can not go to San Francisco without seeing the sea lions.
