4 weeks left...

Well, I went to the doctor (midwife) today and we set a date for an induction. As of right now I will be induced on May 11th. Finally I have a date, I feel like I am going crazy and I am ready to hold this little angel in my arms. The last month is so uncomfortable and I am so tired all of the time. There has been a big difference being pregnant at 34 than it was at 30. I thought I was in such great shape before this pregnancy but I guess this 4th baby has really taken a toll on my body. She checked me and I am dilated to a "1" so it could be earlier but I have never gone on my own, we will just have to wait and see. Travis is supposed to go to New York on the 27th for a couple of days, hopefully he can get out of it, just in case. New York is far away.

We had some friends over for Easter dinner last night and one of the families just a had a baby boy a little over a week ago. Little Tate is so sweet, it really made me excited to have a baby in the house again. I loved holding him, watching his sweet facial expressions, and listening to his angel noises. Every time I held him my little girl inside me was going crazy. She seems to move a lot when I am holding another baby, she must know it is one of her friends from heaven.

We are really looking forward to her joining our little family. Baylee and Sydney's new room was finished last Friday so we moved everything into this weekend. Now I can start to get the baby's room ready. It is always fun preparing for a new baby to come to our family. I will keep everyone updated on her arrival.

Jake's Big Day!

We made Jake's birthday, his day! He got to decide what he wanted to do and what he wanted to eat. We had German pancakes and bacon for breakfast. He wanted to go to the YMCA to play basketball with Travis and his bud, Benj and then swimming at the YMCA with all of us. He also wanted to go to Red Robin for dinner with Benj's family, the Tanuvasas. While we were at dinner we made the spontaneous decision to drive to Boise that night to visit the Meikle's. We called the Meikles at 6:30 our time to see what they had going on since we both had Spring Break and decided to leave an hour later to drive there. We got to Boise just before 4am Boise time. It was a great trip and Jake thought it was an awesome birthday surprise.

Opening his presents. Notice the U of U shirt. Go UTES!

I do not know what Travis and the girls are doing on the counter, I guess we ran out of chairs to sit in.

Jake loved it when everyone sang to him.

Stay tuned for pictures from his birthday party, it is a "Sports Party" and is happening next week when Travis is home to help.

Happy Birthday Jake the Snake!

Jake turned 6 last week. It hard to believe this little guy is 6. He is the sweetest most generous boy. He would do anything for his family, especially his sisters. He is a momma's boy and Travis is definitely his hero. He loves to play sports, any sport, and is a natural athlete just like his Mom. Travis would say just like him but we all know who Jake gets it from. He loves playing video games, reading, riding his bike, and Pokeman. He is always the first one to offer to say the prayer over dinner or family prayers. He has brought such a sweet spirit into our home. We do not know what we would do without this sweet kid. When he was hit by a truck 3 1/2 years ago, it made me really appreciate the blessing he is in my life. (He was in his terrible twos at the time.) I have been so thankful for this wonderful gift Heavenly Father has given us. Happy Birthday Jakey Boy!

Sisters...

Baylee and Syd share a room. Baylee reads to Sydney almost every night and is so patient with her. When Sydney is having a hard time falling asleep Baylee will let Syd crawl in bed with her and tickle her back or just cuddle. One night we went in and found the two girls together cuddled up and asleep.

Baby Benj

On our way back to Portland, we stopped in Boise for a night to see the Meikle's new baby boy, Benjamin Spencer, Travis thought he should have been Benjamin Travis, since he is the godfather. We have been so excited to see this little boy. It has been a long time since Jess and Katie have had a baby so it was so fun to see a sweet little angel in their home again.

Baylee is such a little Mom, she is going to be the best helper when our baby comes.

Sydney loves this little guy!

Utah Trip

Towards the end of February we drove to Utah for a little family reunion. My oldest nephew had just gotten home from his mission in Calgary Canada and I have two nephews who would be leaving on their missions this year. My parents flew up from Texas and my brother and his family came over from Denver. This is the first time we have all been together in 3 years, it was a lot of fun!

We went to the new temple in Draper, Utah for the open house. It was beautiful and it was great for the kids to see it. We went with my nephews, Jeff and Riley, and my parents.

We had a lot of fun times together as the whole "Moss Clan". We went to Fat Catz in Salt Lake for bowling and the video arcade. Here are a few pictures.

I love having the youngest kids in the family. My kids get all the attention from their older cousins and every single one of my nephews and nieces are great examples for my kids.

All the "boys" in the family including Uncle Travie always play basketball together. This time Jake was old enough to play and he loved every minute of it.

We had to take a bunch of family snapshots since it has been such a long time. It is amazing how much all of the grand kids have grown. My parents have 12 grand kids with #13 in my belly.

This picture is actually in order according to age, Lori, Tina, Robb and Mindy. Robb was one lucky boy to be surrounded by 3 sisters who catered to him growing up and still do.

Updating my blog...FINALLY!

It has been FOREVER since I have updated my blog. I do not know what it is, I have just been putting it off. Maybe it is the pregnancy, I am too tired to do anything after my kids go to bed. Travis is in Vegas all week for meetings so I am going to take advantage of getting a lot done on my list. I have been nesting like crazy this week. We are having our bonus room made into a 5th bedroom so I have been going through all of our toys and getting rid of a ton. The bonus room also served as our play room but was rarely used, the kids just follow me around where I am anyway. This new room will be for Baylee and Sydney and their old room will be made into the baby's nursery. The guy we hired started framing today and the room should be completed next Wednesday. I am hoping my list will be a lot shorter by the time Travis gets home, as I am sure he is hoping as well. It might take me a couple days to update my blog but I will have it done by Friday.
