Baby Showers

I had 2 wonderful baby showers the last 2 weeks. You always feel a little goofy having the spotlight on you but it has made me feel so loved living here in Portland. The first shower, my friend, Dayl, had for me was a yummy night of all my favorite desserts. She knows I love dessert! Friends brought everything from chocolate covered strawberries (which is my favorite thing right now) to lemon cake, and even pumpkin cake. Everybody bought darling little girl clothes for this new little one. After having 2 girls in October, this baby is born in a completely different season so it is nice to have clothes that will actually fit her and who can resist on buying little girl clothes. I am so grateful for the great friends I have at church here and making me feel so loved.

The other shower I had was a "Girls' Night Out" with my fantastic neighbors and a couple of Baylee's friends' moms. We went to the Macaroni Grill and just had a great time chatting and hanging out without our children. I feel so grateful to live in a wonderful neighborhood with such fun women!
