Travis came to visit us for Labor Day Weekend. We took another day trip to the coast since that is our favorite place to visit as a family. In Cannon Beach, we had lunch at the famous Mo's Restaurant so they could have Mo's famous clam chowder. (I am not a seafood lover at all.) We had to stop at Bruce's Candy Kitchen to get fresh salt water taffy, which is my favorite. Then we took a long walk down the beach, it was really crowded so we decided to drive down the coast to Rockaway Beach where it is very private. At Rockaway, Travis, Jake and his Dad played baseball while Grandma and the girls played in the sand. It was such a beautiful, sunny day but a little chilly. After Rockaway, we had to hit the Tillamook Cheese Factory for a little cheese and yummy ice cream. It was a perfect day, we were so excited to share it with Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks for spending the weekend with us, we always love to spend time with you!

Oh I love that picture of you and Travis. So cute ya gotta frame that one :). Looks like you had fun with the grandparents!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday miss Mindy, Happy Birthday to you! Hope you have a super day. I need to call you back, but I'll wait until tomorrow! Love ya!
Love the pics - you are beautiful, as always. Looks like a fun weekend
Happy Birthday! Hope you had a nice day and that all goes well with the first day of school in the morning!
Looks like you had a fun birthday! What fun to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa! I loved the pictures of your family, they are so cute.
I just saw that you are part of the bloggin' world. I think it was from Kelly M..or Candace M....who knows. Anyway it was fun to look at your blog!
Thanks for the nice comments on my blog...to answer your question the bags started out from a pattern, but then I simplified them, you really only need about three pieces of the pattern to make them & I could mail you the info..My first one took forever to make, but once I simplified it, the green one took only about 3 hours (oh, they cost about $12 to make)...Also, not sick... just hurt my back about a week and a half ago, and couldn't move. Found out I had a couple of bulging disks that needed cortisone injections. Just part of the wear & tear of this old body of mine, (and lifting a 32 pound 18 month old in & out of things, doesn't really help much either, i guess!)but I'm great now!
Okay, so I'm really missing the ocean, and wish we went to the coast more! You guys look like you had so much fun! The thing I can't believe is how much the girls look alike! Your kids are really beautiful, &...you & trav are to shabby either! :)
Hey that beach looks familiar! What a great time, wish we could've joined you guys. Your kids are looking so grown up!
