Silver Falls with the Birthday Boy

Travis' birthday was yesterday so we decided to have a fun day out with the kids. We went to Silver Falls State Park, which is about an hour away. There are 8 gorgeous waterfalls scattered throughout the park, with beautiful hiking/biking trails. We hiked all around the state park and had such a fun time, even though the kids were exhausted by the end. There were some pretty steep parts that made us a little nervous so we ended up hauling Sydney around on our shoulders through most of the hike. The weather was amazing and we had a great time just being together. To top it off, we had a baby sitter come so Travis and I could escape and celebrate his birthday with friends.

Looks like fun! Glad Trav had a great day. I am still a little bit bitter about being called out. We need a rematch! I couldn't find a rule about it in the whiffle ball rules. hmmmmmm It was fun though!

Happy Birthday Big Man! You don't look a day over 25! And just to make sure I don't miss it!
Also, Happy B-day to you Mindy, on the 1st!

So, I've decided...you must never sleep! There is no way anyone can be such a "Super Mom" like you are! You always look great in all the pictures I see of you! You let people take pictures of you!!!! You are always out and about going to fun new adventureous places with the family! When your not doing that, your having fantasy sports nights, competing in triathlons, painting and finding time to blog about all of it! There's no way you sleep! And to tell the truth, I'm rather tired just thinking about all of it!
But really, your family is very lucky to have you....your amazing!
