Did anyone see the lunar eclipse tonight? It was so beautiful. It is hard to believe that the sky was crystal clear here in Portland, so we were able to have a great view. We gathered outside with the kids and a few neighbors to experience it. I hope others had a chance to see it. It was fun showing and teaching our kids all about it. Baylee wanted to know why it was so special, we had to explain that it does not happen all of the time. We will not see another one until December 2010. A neighbor of ours had a big telescope to look at the moon more closely. The moon look red at one point. It was an amazing sight.

great pic Mindy, the kiddos and I had fun looking at it at different times to see how much it had changed. (Daniel was at Young Mens) I love the new header, what a cute family.
Rats, it was cloudy and foggy here so we couldn't see it. I'm glad you did.
